Dr. William Liang attended the University of British Columbia and received his Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology in 1981 and his Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree in 1983. At graduation, he was awarded the Canadian Oral and Maxillo-Facial Prize for highest standing in the area of Oral Surgery. He has been practicing dentistry in Surrey, BC for the past 35 years. Currently his practice is focused on adult restorative and implant dentistry.

 

Dr. Liang is Board Certified by the American Board of Oral Implantology/ Implant Dentistry, Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, Fellow and Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, Fellow of the Misch Implant Institute and Honored Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

AAID Vancouver MaxiCourse
Surgical Residency Program

A comprehensive foundational surgical residency, participants are exposed to a variety of modalities within implant dentistry.

Limited to 15 registrants each year, this hybrid approach to learning blends live Zoom webinars, in-person lectures and hands-on workshops, and live surgery under guided mentorship from ABOI Board-Certified Oral Implantologists.​

  • 300 Hours CE

  • 10 sessions, 3-day weekends once per month

  • 3 sessions are live online webinars – recorded for easy viewing later [scheduling flexibility]

  • 6 in-person sessions in Vancouver

  • 1 session in Honolulu, Hawaii - block grafting / anatomy cadaver dissection [January]

  • 4 sessions include opportunity to bring patients for one-on-one live surgery mentorship

  • Plenty of hands-on workshops throughout the year

  • Speakers are selected for their expertise in their given field
